Description
Product Introduction:
The frost resistance of concrete specimens is determined under water–freeze–thaw conditions and expressed in terms of the number of rapid freeze–thaw cycles they can withstand.
Test procedure:
1. Remove the 100×100×400 concrete freeze–thaw specimens, cured for 24 days, from the curing environment and immerse them in water at 20°C, ensuring that the water level is 20–30 mm above the top surface of the specimens. After the specimens have reached an age of 28 days, proceed with the subsequent tests.
2. Remove the concrete freeze–thaw specimens that meet the requirements from the water and wipe them dry with a damp cloth. Place the specimens whose external dimensions comply with the relevant specifications into the specimen bucket, and then fill the specimen box with clean water to a level 5 mm above the top surface of the specimens.
3. Place the specimen bucket into the freeze–thaw test tank; the instrument automatically cycles the specimens through alternating cooling and heating, periodically subjecting them to freezing and thawing.
4. For each concrete specimen, measure its mass and relative dynamic modulus of elasticity once after every 25 freeze–thaw cycles.
5. After 300 freeze–thaw cycles are completed, the machine automatically shuts down, and the freeze–thaw temperature profile can be downloaded from the device to a computer for staff review and analysis.
