Product Introduction:

Used to assess the extent to which color from colored textiles is transferred to other surfaces due to friction; various types of colored yarns and fabrics made from different fibers, including those dyed, printed, or colored by other methods; printed textiles whose surface area is too small to be tested with a standard friction tester.

Working principle:

The specimen is subjected to repeated rotary friction against white cotton cloth under a specified pressure for a predetermined number of cycles. The degree of color transfer is then assessed by comparing the white cotton cloth with a gray scale for staining, providing a basis for optimizing fabric dyeing processes.
