Product Introduction:
Used for the rapid determination of formaldehyde content in textiles. Instrument principle: A precisely weighed textile sample is extracted in a 40°C water bath for a specified duration; the formaldehyde released from the fabric is absorbed by the aqueous extract, and the extract is then developed with acetylacetone to produce a yellow color. This yellow complex exhibits selective absorption of visible light, allowing the formaldehyde concentration in the sample to be quantified using a colorimetric analysis method on a dedicated textile formaldehyde analyzer. Measurement method: Water extraction.

GB/T 18401-2010, GB/T 2912.1-2009, ISO 14184.1-2011, AATCC 112, and others.
