Product Introduction:
Standard granular materials used in sieve analysis to determine the equivalent aperture and aperture distribution curve of geosynthetic materials. By measuring the mass of standard granular material passing through each sieve, the percent passing is calculated. Different-sized standard granular materials are then substituted for testing, and a curve plotting standard particle diameter against percent passing is constructed; this curve represents the sample’s aperture distribution, from which the effective aperture O (e.g., Os or Ogs) is determined.
