Description
Product Introduction:
This instrument is suitable for measuring the volumetric changes—expansion and contraction—of metallic materials, ceramics, glazes, refractory materials, as well as non-metallic materials such as rubber and plastics, over a temperature range from −196°C to +200°C.
Reference standard:
GB/T 1036-2008 “Determination of the Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion of Plastics—Quartz Dilatometer Method”
GB/T 2572-2005 Test Method for the Average Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion of Fiber-Reinforced Plastics,
GB/T 20673-2006 Rigid cellular plastics — Determination of the linear thermal expansion coefficient at temperatures below ambient, among other methods.
Technical Specifications:
| Parameter Category | Parameter content |
| Instrument structure | It employs a vertical, push‑rod design; sample loading and unloading are convenient, minimizing the influence of the sample’s own weight on the measurement. |
| Temperature range | -196°C to +200°C, programmable; liquid nitrogen cooling system (optional down to -150°C) |
| Power Supply Parameters | AC 220V; Power: 1000W |
| Specimen specifications | It can be used to determine the coefficient of thermal expansion for glass rods, tubes, plates, and finished products. Sample dimensions: diameter Φ(5–10) × height 50 mm, or (5–10) × (5–10) × 50 mm; both square and circular shapes are acceptable. Additional custom sizes and specifications are available upon request. |
| Data processing functionality | The instrument can be connected to a computer for real-time display and can print the thermal expansion curve, all raw data, and the Tf point, while also calculating the linear thermal expansion coefficient and the Tg point. |
| Refrigeration chamber temperature fluctuation | ≤±1℃ |
| Temperature control accuracy | ±1℃ |
| Measurement indicators | The measurement resolution is 0.1 μm, and the measurement accuracy is ±a × 0.1 × 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹. |
| Test fixture material | High-purity quartz |
