Product Introduction:
The LBT-1175 geomembrane and sheet density tester is specially designed for measuring the density of geomembranes, plastics, films and sheets, rubber, wires and cables, food products, composite materials, cosmetics, footwear materials, glass, and precious metal and hardware scrap, among other industries. It can directly display the average weight of solid, granular, film‑like, and buoyant samples in air, as well as their average weight in water, along with the corresponding density values.
Principle:
The LBT-1175 geomembrane and sheet density tester is designed based on the Archimedes principle of water displacement, as specified in ASTM D297‑93, D792‑00, D618, and D891. It is specifically engineered to measure density values for materials and products, with a focus on two key variables.
Product Features:
1. No manual calculations are required; simply follow two steps to directly obtain the sample’s density value. When used with a balance, it can be operated immediately.
2. By selecting a combination of different liquid accessories, you can measure the specific gravity of the liquid you need.
3. A large‑volume water tank design is adopted to minimize errors caused by the buoyancy of the suspension cable.
4. Equipped with an RS-232C computer interface, it can be easily connected to a PC and a printer.

Measurement steps:
Step 1: Place the sample on the upper tray. Once it is stable, press the Enter key to automatically record the tare weight.
Step 2: Place the sample on the water tray; once it is stable, press the Enter key. The instrument will automatically record the water weight, and after approximately 5 seconds, it will display the density (specific gravity) value directly.
