Description
Product Introduction:
The DWC-196 liquid nitrogen drop‑hammer impact specimen cryogenic tester is a state‑of‑the‑art ultra‑low‑temperature refrigeration system newly developed in accordance with the requirements for low‑temperature equipment specified in GB/T 6803, “Drop‑Hammer Test Method for Determining the Nucleation Temperature of Ferritic Steels.” This equipment employs liquid nitrogen cooling combined with PID temperature control, leveraging thermal equilibrium and recirculating convection to achieve automatic, uniform cooling and stable temperature maintenance of the test specimens, fully meeting all temperature‑control specifications stipulated by the national standard.
This cryostat features intelligent instrument control, digital temperature display, automatic temperature regulation, automatic timing, and automatic alarm functions. It is easy and safe to operate, offers rapid cooling, a large chamber volume, high temperature‑control accuracy, and low energy consumption.
This equipment can perform NDT testing, as well as DWTT tests and conventional drop‑weight and pendulum impact tests.
Product Features:
The equipment is fitted with casters at the base for easy relocation; it includes a sample basket for convenient loading and retrieval of specimens; and it features a drain port for easy recovery of the refrigerant and cleaning. Additionally, it provides temperature‑reach alarms and insulation‑duration timers.
Protection features: whole-unit overload protection, leakage protection, phase-loss protection, phase-sequence protection, grounding protection, system pressure protection, and medium over-temperature protection (dry‑burn prevention), among others.

9. Oil-water separator, 1 set
10. One set of liquid nitrogen–specific connecting tubing
Installation and Usage:
This cryostat features simple installation, convenient operation, rapid cooling, and high temperature-control accuracy. The specific installation steps are as follows:
1. Place the cryostat horizontally and lock the casters.
2. Connect the liquid nitrogen tank’s connecting pipe to the cryostat, using a PTFE sealing gasket at the interface to prevent liquid nitrogen leakage.
3. Connect the device to a 220V power supply and turn on the power switch.
4. Set the temperature control—turn on the cooling button—turn on the convection fan—set the constant-temperature duration.
5. Once the set temperature and the preset constant‑temperature duration are reached, the buzzer sounds an alarm; when the constant‑temperature timer is turned off, the buzzer stops sounding, indicating that the constant‑temperature phase has ended. To resume, re‑activate the constant‑temperature timer; when the temperature reaches the set point and the designated constant‑temperature period elapses, the buzzer will sound again.
