Description
Product Introduction:
This instrument is suitable not only for engineering plastics with high melting temperatures, such as polyethylene, polycarbonate, polyarylsulfone, fluoroplastics, and nylon, but also for plastics with lower melting points, including polyethylene, polystyrene, ABS resin, and polyoxymethylene. It is widely used in industries such as plastic raw materials, plastic manufacturing, plastic products, and petrochemicals, as well as in relevant colleges and universities, research institutions, and commodity inspection agencies.
Meets the standard:
GB/T 3682-2018 Determination of Melt Mass Flow Rate and Melt Volume Flow Rate of Thermoplastic Plastics—MFR
ISO 1133-1:2011 Plastics — Determination of the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastics
ASTM D1238-2013 Standard Test Method for Determining the Melt Flow Rate of Thermoplastic Plastics Using an Extrusion-Type Melt Indexer
Instrument features:
The TG-27 Melt Flow Rate Tester employs electronic measurement technology, featuring a color touchscreen for displaying test results and a miniature printer for output. It boasts a compact, aesthetically pleasing design, with a control system that measures and displays temperature in real time, along with functions such as upper‑limit temperature protection, constant‑temperature audible alerts, and prompts for recovery time. Utilizing PID control and a high‑speed, high‑resolution sampling circuit, the instrument delivers the following performance during temperature regulation: rapid heating, exceptional temperature stability, and swift return to setpoint after sample addition.
Environmental Requirements
1. Ambient temperature: within the range of 10°C to 40°C;
2. The ambient relative humidity shall be between 30% and 80%.

| Standard test loads (kg, eight levels in total) | Level 1: 0.325 kg = (piston rod + weight tray + thermal insulation sleeve + No. 1 weight) = 3.187 N |
| Level 2: 1.200 kg = (0.325 + 2 × 0.875) = 11.77 N | |
| Level 3: 2.160 kg = (0.325 + 3rd‑class 1.835 weight) = 21.18 N | |
| Level 4: 3.800 kg = (0.325 + 3.475 kg, No. 4 weight) = 37.26 N | |
| Level 5: 5.000 kg = (0.325 + 4.675 kg weight No. 5) = 49.03 N | |
| Level 6: 10.000 kg = (0.325 + No. 4 weight of 4.675 + No. 6 weight of 5.000) = 98.07 N | |
| Level 7: 12.500 kg = (0.325 + No. 4 weight of 4.675 + No. 6 weight of 5.000 + No. 7 weight of 2.500) = 122.58 N | |
